Diet Recommendations for Menopause Symptoms

A great part of who we are and how we feel directly related to the food we eat and the liquids we drink, this is why food has direct effects on your well being even when you go through your menopause period. There are 2 wonder foods that fight against the menopause related symptoms like no others:

1. Soy

Soy is highly recommended because of its vegetal nutritional share but also for its phytoestrogens, also called “dietary estrogens”. Phytoestrogens mainly help the regulation of cholesterol and the maintenance of proper bone density post-menopause, but they also have protective action against diverse health disorders, such as cancer. Try to purchase non-GMO soy.

2. Red Wine

Red wine is highly recommended but in small quantities (50 ml three times per day) because of its polyphenol component which plays the role in fighting against the free radicals. Free radicals are the main cause of the thickening of the blood vessels walls.

Polyphenol is also a natural blood thinner, preventing the formation of blood clogs. Besides, the tannins contained in red wine prevent the cholesterol formations on the blood vessels walls. 300 ml of dry red wine per day is recommended, but not more.

These have been all the natural remedies for menopause symptoms that we recommend to you all, ladies. We sure hope that you will use them to relief yourselves from the annoying sensations and pains related to menopause and enjoy a happy life as a grown and mature woman. Stay beautiful and healthy, naturally!
