1. Best Herbal Tea for Menstrual Cramps
To prepare this tea you can use either fresh or dried plants. Mix equal parts of lady’s mantle, yarrow, and silverweed. Scald 1-2 teaspoons of this herbal blend into 2/3 of a cup of boiling water (about 150 ml). Steep covered for 10 to 15 minutes, then strain. Ideally, you can have 3 cups of this tea a day, before you get your period. This way, your menstruation will run smoothly and almost without pain. 2. Menstrual Cramps Tincture

Finely chop the fresh plants and put them in a glass jar. Pour the alcohol over them at a 1:5 ratio. Seal the bottle and keep it in a warm place for 2-3 weeks, shaking several times a day.
Strain the tincture through a fine sieve or a piece of gauze and pour it into small amber bottles with a dropper. The dose is 30 drops a day with a little water for 4-6 weeks. This tincture is used for chronic menstrual problems, including severe menstrual cramps.
3. Menstrual Cramps Salve

Do this with all the three plants separately. Keep the three bottles in a sunny spot (eg. on the window sill) and shake them several times a day. Heat up the oil extractions to 70°C/158°F (use a thermometer to measure the temperature). When they reach this temperature, remove from the heat and add the beeswax. Stir constantly until the wax has melted completely into the oils and the composition has reached 40°C/104F. Optional, add 1-2 drops of rose oil and mix them in.
