The Natural Remedy for Liver Congestion with Plums

This natural remedy for liver congestion we are about to share with you is based on a delicious fruit we all know as a plum. Plums are high in antioxidants, have natural diuretic and purging properties, and are some of the best fruits to decongest and cleanse the liver. In addition, the liver functions on natural sugars from ripe fruit, raw honey, or maple syrup, and hates high-fat foods, no matter animal or plant. For this remedy, you need 20 large and fully-ripe plums. Here is how to prepare this natural remedy for liver congestion at home.

  • Pit all the plums, and then submerge them in a big bowl filled with water, until they are fully covered.
  • Let them sit in the water for 1 hour (ideally, do this the night before you start the cure).
  • Put the pitted plums in a pot, cover them with water and boil them for 2 hours.
  • During this time, replace the water in which the plums boil with fresh cold water 2-3 times.

You can start the plum cure the very next day. Eat a few of the pitted and boiled plums right before lunch and then again before dinner. Make sure the plums are slightly heated when you eat them. Continue this simple remedy for at least 1 month and in a maximum of 2 months, your liver will start to decongest and you will start to feel amazing.

Alongside, drink plenty of fresh spring water, predominantly eat fresh and ripe fruits and vegetables, and reduce to a minimum animal products (especially pork, fatty meat, cheese, dairy, and eggs), fats in general (including high plant-based fats), and highly processed foods. In addition, have plenty of burdock root tea, milk thistle, artichoke, and wild chicory root. Beehive products are also amazing for detoxifying the liver, and you can read more about these natural remedies here.
