The Real Cause of Varicose Veins

According to best-selling author and intuitive healer, Medical Medium, blood gets thick because it’s become chronically dehydrated over the years at the same time the liver has filled with poisons that have backed up into the blood year after year. Alongside chronic dehydration in the body, a high-fat diet can also contribute to the thickening of the blood, leading to the narrowing of the veins and arteries. In an attempt to help the overburdened heart pump thickened blood through our extremities, the brain intervenes, leading to the enlargement of certain blood vessels to aid in the easier flow of the blood. This is how varicose veins come to be.

Besides being an unaesthetic and unpleasant condition to the eyes, varicose veins are a warning signal that the liver needs a thorough detox and that you need to change your diet. Thus, the first thing to do is detox the liver, and avoid dehydrating foods and drinks (alcohol, coffee, soda drinks, energizing drinks, processed sugar, high fatty foods, processed foods) and instead have plenty of fresh water, fruits, and vegetables. Now let’s get to the best home remedies for varicose veins.

Hi, Chloe! Yes, varicose veins are caused by an overburdened liver that cannot cleanse the blood at the right pace, thus the blood gets thicker, travels slower and can create varicose veins and spider veins. Dandelion root, burdock root, milk thistle and cat’s claw are amazing herbs for the liver (bitter tonic herbs in general). I am happy for you for starting your herb class, I am sure you will learn a lot of useful things. Thank you for stopping by, much health!
