10 Bay Leaf Decoction Uses and How to Use at Home
Tear 15 dried bay leaves finely and put them in an enameled pot with 300 ml of cold water together with 1 tablespoon of chopped burdock root. Bring to a boil, and after the first boil, leave it on low heat for another 5 minutes. Pour the whole decoction into a thermos and steep for 4 hours. Strain the bay leaf decoction and drink it warm throughout the day, in small sips. Continue for 3 days, pause for 10 days, and resume.
Adjust the dosages according to your daily blood sugar level tests. For example, when the values are around 180-230 mg/dL, drink 200 ml of bay leaf tea in the morning, and when the values decrease to 130-150 mg/dL, reduce the dose to 120-150 ml of tea. You can follow the bay leaf tea cure for a maximum of 3 months, then pause for 4 weeks and resume if necessary.

Put a tablespoon of chopped bay leaves and the stems of 4-5 pumpkins or squashes in 500 ml (2 cups) of cold water. Bring to the boiling point, then simmer on low heat for 15 minutes, and strain. Rinse your mouth with the warm decoction, 2 times a day, then soak a cotton pad in the infusion and put it over the sick gum/tooth. For halitosis, boil a tablespoon each of finely chopped bay leaves and peppermint leaves for 10 minutes in 700 ml of water. Strain and rinse your mouth between meals, 3-4 times a day.
Boil 10-12 bay leaves in a liter of water for 5 minutes. Steep until the temperature drops to 38°C/100°F and strain. Use the bay leaf decoction for sitz baths, until the decoction cools down. The procedure is repeated 3-4 times a week.
