Looking for the best mercury poisoning remedies and want to learn what is mercury poisoning and mercury poisoning symptoms? Continue reading.

Mercury is an extremely neurotoxic metal, even in small amounts, that does not naturally eliminate from the body but accumulates and is passed down from generation to generation, similar to other heavy metals. This accumulation helps explain the “genetic” factor behind many chronic health issues. Before we show you the top mercury poisoning remedies, here are a few things to know about mercury poisoning symptoms and how to avoid it.

Short History of Mercury as Medicine

At the beginning of modern medicine, one of the favorite treatments of doctors was… you guessed it: mercury! Patients often left the doctor’s office more dead than alive, suffering from seizures, tics, an inability to speak or coordinate their movements. They were so terrified that they avoided going to the doctor at all costs, almost leading to the collapse of the medical industry in the mid-19th century.

Mercury poisoning is also what doctors in the 20th century referred to as “hysteria” in women or the “mad hatter’s disease” among hatmakers.

I highly recommend reading Anthony Williams’ best-selling book, which explains in detail about mercury poisoning, its effects, and how we can eliminate it from our bodies. Mercury is a silent killer that has made millions of victims around the world and continues to do so, making it essential for us to learn how to protect ourselves from it and how to safely remove it from our bodies. It’s doable!

Mercury Poisoning Symptoms

There are two types of mercury poisoning: chronic and acute. Severe acute poisoning has very powerful immediate effects or over time, due to the large amount of mercury an individual has been exposed to. However, chronic poisoning is caused by repeated exposure and may not have immediate symptoms. Mercury accumulates in the brain and organs is very difficult to link to these diseases. The majority of people on Earth today have some amount of mercury in their bodies, resulting in the explosion of degenerative, neurological, and what are commonly called autoimmune diseases we face today.

The symptoms of mercury poisoning include:

  • Metallic taste in the mouth
  • Neurological issues: impaired coordination, muscle weakness, tremors, changes in hearing, vision, and speech, headaches
  • Sensory symptoms: numbness and tingling in the fingers, toes, or around the mouth
  • Neurological symptoms: fatigue, irritability, mood swings, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, insomnia
  • Cognitive impairment: memory loss, cognitive decline, inability to concentrate, mental confusion
  • Kidney damage: reduced urine output, blood in urine, swelling of legs and feet, proteinuria, kidney failure
  • Respiratory issues: cough, difficulty breathing, cough, shortness of breath, and chest pain
  • Gastrointestinal symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain

Mercury Poisoning Conditions

Mercury, like other heavy metals, crosses the blood-brain barrier and accumulates in the brain (where it disrupts neural electrical impulses) and other organs. This is why mercury poisoning is primarily associated with degenerative neurological diseases and disorders of the nervous system. Mercury is implicated in the development of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, as well as depression, anxiety, and other serious psychological conditions.

Mercury is the cause of Alzheimer’s disease!

Additionally, it contributes to the onset of most chronic conditions, including neurological, hormonal, autoimmune, cardiovascular, and reproductive issues. Accumulated mercury in the body is one of the causes of so-called autoimmune diseases, including fibromyalgia, lupus, chronic fatigue syndrome, epilepsy, arthritis, Crohn’s disease, autism, ALS, psoriasis, eczema, diabetes, and more.

Mercury is one of the preferred food sources for viruses!

It crosses the placental barrier and reaches the fetus, potentially causing developmental defects. Other diseases caused by chronic mercury poisoning include allergies, asthma, sinusitis, chronic migraines/headaches, sensitivity to various infections, antibiotic-resistant infections, tachycardia, cancer, eye problems, urinary issues, and more.

Mercury reduces fertility!

More and more people are facing infertility problems due to the cumulative effect of mercury and other toxic heavy metals. Mercury also contributes to decreased sperm count, defects in sperm, and low testosterone levels in men, as well as prostate issues, and menstrual irregularities, endometriosis, infertility, and miscarriage in women. Children exposed to mercury may develop autism spectrum disorders as well as other serious neurological problems.

The Main Sources of Mercury Poisoning

  • Amalgam dental fillings (opt for ceramic fillings instead)
  • Oceanic fish especially large, fatty ones like tuna, shark, swordfish (choose smaller, wild-caught fish like sardines and mackerel and occasionally wild-caught salmon).
  • Fish oil supplements as mercury accumulates in the fat of fish – all fish oil supplements are contaminated with mercury (replace with omega-3 from algae – EPA/DHA).
  • Medical treatments (mercurial ointments, mercurous chloride/mercuric chloride, cinnabar-containing Chinese traditional medicines, calomel – diaper rash treatments and teething powders, eye drops – phenylmercury acetate)
  • Vaccines (as preservative thimerosal – multi-dose flu vaccines, DTaP, Hepatitis B, Hib vaccines etc.)
  • Medical devices (thermometers and blood pressure monitors)
  • Cosmetics (mercury creams, skin-lightening creams, some soap, some mascara, etc.)
  • Chemical industry (amalgams)
  • Mining industry (silver and gold mining)
  • Compact fluorescent lamps and some other types of energy-efficient light bulbs contain small amounts of mercury vapor
  • Button cell batteries (e.g., for watches, hearing aids)
  • Antiques (mercury silvering objects, clocks, mercury glass objects, old mirrors, old hats)
  • Old oil-based paints
  • Older thermostats, electrical switches, and relays
  • Liquid-mirror telescopes

Mercury toxicity is synergistic with other heavy metals such as cadmium and lead. It is also known that certain antibiotics (neomycin) greatly enhance the toxicity of mercury!!!

4 Mercury Poisoning Remedies

1. Sulfur

In conventional medicine, sulfur is recognized as the universally accepted antidote for mercury. Sulfur has a strong affinity for mercury, binding with it even at room temperature to form mercuric sulfide (HgS), or cinnabar. The pharmaceutical form of sulfur is known as flowers of sulfur (sulfur sublimatum depuratum), and it acts as a detoxifying agent for mercury, lead, and arsenic.

In homeopathy, a safer option is using hepar sulfur, a combination of flower of sulfur and oyster shell. Other homeopathic remedies with similar effects include lachesis, mezerum, and nitricum acidum. The appropriate remedy and dilution should be determined by a qualified homeopath. This approach is often recommended due to its reduced risk compared to traditional treatments with sulfur in larger doses.Sulf

2. Herbal Remedy for Mercury Poisoning

To prepare this home remedy, place 1.2 liters of water on the stove along with 2 tablespoons of dried horsetail, 1 tablespoon of walnut leaves, and 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped green walnuts. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes on low heat. Then, cover and let it infuse for 1 hour. Strain and drink 100 ml of this decoction six times a day.

3. Cabbage, Thyme and Mustard Decoction

This remedy is aimed at helping detoxify the body from mercury. To prepare it, you will need:

  • 25 g of white cabbage
  • 25 g of red cabbage
  • 50 g of fresh thyme
  • 25 g of mustard seeds

Finely chop the cabbage and thyme. Boil all ingredients for 5 minutes in one liter of water. Let the mixture infuse for 3 days. Strain and drink the entire infusion in one day. Repeat this process two or three times to eliminate all mercury from the body.
