What Is Essiac Tea
Rene Caisse, a Canadian nurse, made the Essiac tea (her name spelled backward) blend for patients with advanced forms of stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, cervical cancer, anal cancer, bladder cancer, lip cancer, and esophageal cancers. She said that she has been able to cure these types of cancer with Essiac tea, which is not toxic and has no side effects. Before we show you how to make Essiac tea at home, here are the tools and herbs that you need.
Essiac Tea Utensils
All instructions must be followed carefully and precisely. To make Essiac tea you need:
- one 15-liter stainless steel pot with lid;
- one 11-liter stainless steel pot with lid;
- double sieve with fine mesh, made of stainless steel;
- stainless steel funnel;
- stainless steel spoon or spatula;
- 12 or more sterilized amber glass bottles (170 ml) with caps;
- kitchen scale
Do not use aluminum or plastic pots or utensils!
Essiac Tea Herbs
- 6.5 cups of burdock root (Arctium lappa);
- 453 g of crushed sheep sorrel herb (Rumex acetosella);
- 28.35 g of crushed Turkish rhubarb root (Rheum palmatum);
- 113.4 g of crushed slippery elm bark (Ulmus fulva/rubra);
- 7.6 liters of distilled water (sodium-free).
How to Make Essiac Tea at Home
Combine the herbs very well – you can put them in a large paper bag and shake them vigorously to mix well. Bring the sodium-free distilled water to a boil in the 15-liter pot with the lid on. Add a cup of the herbal blend to the boiling water. (Store the rest of the plants in a dry, dark, and cool place.)
Put the lid back on and leave on the fire for ten minutes, then turn off the fire. Scrape the edges of the pot with a spatula and mix the decoction well. Put the cover back on and leave for 12 hours. After the 12 hours, heat the decoction until close to boiling point, but do not let it boil! Turn off the heat and strain the decoction into the 11-liter pot. Rinse the 15-liter pot and the sieve and then, strain once again back into the 15-liter pot.
Immediately pour the hot decoction through a funnel, into the sterilized amber bottles, and seal them tightly. Leave the bottles to cool, then tighten the caps again. Store the bottles in the fridge. The Essiac tea does not contain preservatives, so if you see deposits form in the bottle, do not use it (make a new batch).
Very Important!
All bottles and caps must be sterilized after each use, if you intend to reuse them. After washing and rinsing them, you can use a solution of 3% hydrogen peroxide to completely clean them. To prepare the 3% solution, mix 28.35 ml of 35% hydrogen peroxide with 311 ml of sodium-free distilled water. Soak them in the solution for 5 minutes, then rinse and wipe them.
How to Use Essiac Tea at Home
For cancer and AIDS, Rene Caisse recommends the following dosage for an adult:
- 4 tablespoons of Essiac tea in the morning, on an empty stomach (you can eat five minutes after taking it).
- 4 tablespoons at lunch (before eating)
- 4 tablespoons at bedtime, on an empty stomach (after at least two hours from the last meal)
- continue for 12 consecutive weeks, without interruption (shake the bottle before each use)
For prevention, Rene Caisse recommends:
- 4 tablespoons of Essiac tea at bedtime, on an empty stomach (at least two hours after the last meal) – either cold or heated, but never heating in the microwave oven!
As prevention, Essiac tea is recommended for Epstein-Barr virus, shingles, HPV, mono, herpes viruses, and so on, which are the actual causes behind most auto-immune conditions and mysterious symptoms out there. If suffering from a stomach ulcer, dilute the Essiac tea with an equal amount of sodium-free distilled water. Essiac tea is useless if used while undergoing chemotherapy.
