Home Remedy for Periodontal Abscess

Periodontal abscess is a painful and degenerative condition of the teeth and gum.

If left untreated may cause severe infection and can affect the surrounding areas like the maxillary sinus and causing sinusitis in the end.

This is the reason why, when confronted with it you need to rush to the doctor. Here is a home remedy for periodontal abscess that can help you out.

1. Propolis Remedies for Periodontal Abscess

Add 30 drops of propolis tincture on a very small piece of bread and eat it after the 3 main meals of the day. 

In the end, you’ll repeat the treatment 3-4 times per day and last one right before bedtime, without eating anything afterwards. Make sure you chew very well and swallow, and use as little amount of bread as possible.

Or you can make a simple natural toothpaste to brush with until the periodontal abscess is gone.

Brush your teeth after each meal with a natural paste of Aloe Vera and propolis and suck on propolis. Continue the treatment for 30 days and your abscess will be gone.

In addition, mince pollen granules and mix it with the equal quantity of honey. Have 1 tsp of this honey in the morning and another one in the evening.

2. Hydrogen Peroxide Remedy for Periodontal Abscess

Add 1 or 2 teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide in 100 ml of water or tea. Rinse your teeth and mouth with it really well and insist on passing the liquid between the teeth. Repeat 4-5 times per day. This is a plain and simple home remedy for periodontal abscess and we hope that, if you wish to approach this healing path, it will lead you to successful healing.

3. Clay Cataplasms for Periodontal Abscess

Make small clay cataplasms and place them directly on the gum where the abscess is located. Do the cataplasms in the evening, right before bedtime and be consistent for the following 3-4 weeks. Some people have treated their periodontal abscess this way and say it has never come back again.

4. Oak Bark Decoction

Make an infusion by boiling oak bark in water for 20 minutes. Use the decoction to rinse your mouth really well and repeat a few times per day.

5. Wormwood Remedy for Periodontal Abscess

Make an infusion by adding 1 tablespoon of wormwood into 100 ml of water. Rinse very well and steady until you start making foam. You may use as well sage, walnut leaves or marigolds instead of wormwood because they are just as effective.
