Topically, apply Swedish bitter poultices over the gallbladder area for 4 hours. Before applying the Swedish bitter poultice, anoint the area with clarified pork lard or a natural calendula salve. Alternate the Swedish bitter poultices with horsetail poultices. To make the horsetail poultice, soak the horsetail herb in boiling water. Remove it and spread it onto a clean gauze cloth, and apply it immediately, as hot as possible. Use the entire horsetail plant.

Then soak a large piece of cotton fabric in water, squeeze and place it over the poultice. Then lay a dry piece of cotton fabric over it, and lastly, secure the poultice in place with a neckcloth. Leave the horsetail poultice to take its course between 30 minutes and 1 hour before removing it.
