1. How to Make White Lily Petals Tincture
Finely chop the petals of five lilies and soak them in 100 ml (3.4 oz) of 90-degree alcohol in a sealed jar for ten days. Strain well and pour in an amber bottle with a dropper. The white lily petals tincture is for external use.

2. How to Make White Lily Bulb Tincture
Finely chop the fresh white lily bulbs and soak them in 100 ml (3.4 oz) of 90-degree alcohol in a sealed jar. Leave the bulbs to soak for 12 days, then strain. Pour the tincture into a small amber bottle with a dropper and store it in a cool place. The shelf life of this tincture is 2 years. The white lily bulb tincture is for internal use.
3. White Lily Poultice
Finely chop the fresh plant, then apply it to the affected area. Cover with a thin piece of gauze, and leave it in place for 1-2 hours. After removing the poultice, leave for the skin to dry on its own for 15 minutes (do not dab it).
5 Natural Remedies with White Lily Flowers
1. Tachycardia
White lily bulb tincture is an old remedy for rapid heart rate and other cardiac problems caused by stress or mental distress. The reason is that this tincture has calming and slightly sedative effects, regulates heartbeat, and helps balance emotions. The dose is 50 drops, four times a day, in a two-month course. Pause for a month and resume if needed.

2. Wounds & Eczema
White lily petals are a powerful antibiotic that prevents wound infection and helps to cure pre-existing skin infections. Also, lily petals have very good wound scarring properties. Apply white lily petals tincture to cuts, insect bites, tick bites, or infectious eczema. If the wound is fresh, apply a poultice made of chopped white lily petals on the spot and hold it for an hour. This poultice has calming and disinfecting properties. Repeat daily until complete healing. This poultice is also good for mild burns.
2. Paronychia & Skin Abscess
Apply a poultice with grated white lily bulbs to the affected area. This simple poultice has strong disinfectant properties and promotes rapid healing. For more efficiency, after removing the poultice, dab the affected area with white lily petals tincture. This simple remedy is great for inflammation of the skin around the nail (paronychia) and skin wounds with puss.

4. Ear Infection
Soak the petals of seven white lilies in 200 ml of grape seed or olive oil in a jar. Leave the jar in the sun for two weeks, then strain the infused oil, pour it into an amber bottle, seal and keep it in a cool place. This oil can be used for ear pain, but also for otitis. In this case, heat up slightly a teaspoon of little white lily oil and pour it into the infected ear (beware of burns!). Leave for one hour and clean the ear.
This lily-infused oil has anti-inflammatory and anti-infective properties, especially in the case of ear infections, it helps soothe ear pain and helps heal otitis faster. You can also use the lily petals tincture instead (recipe above). Introduce a well-soaked small bit of cotton swab in each ear.
5. Cough
Simmer the petals of one or two white lilies are boiled for a minute in cow’s milk and strain. This medicinal milk is drunk as hot as one can bear, sweetened with a little wildflower honey. This milk has calming, antispasmodic effects, relieves cough, and eases breathing. In folk medicine, the same medicinal milk, but made with white lily bulbs instead, was used during the winter for whooping cough and pneumonia.
